I am Emily, one of the co-founders of Mini Professors. I live in Winchester with my family but am originally from Yorkshire. I have a degree in biology, a passion for science and three young girls of my own all of which helped lead to the formation of Mini Professors.
I feel that all children have a great thirst for learning from a young age and, therefore, should be given every opportunity to develop and learn new skills. With a background in science and experience of young children, I can help to nurture a love of science. This will lead to a great foundation for their future education.
I am Sophie, with a degree and masters in science from Manchester University. I have three young children of my own and am a seasoned veteran of baby classes! I noticed a lack of science-related classes and thought there might be an opportunity to provide them, using my passion for science and children.
Science shouldn't be boring and stuffy the way it was in my day. I hope my enthusiasm for the subject will rub off on the children who join in with our fun.
